Enjoy Europe on the river!

Come aboard a Viking River Cruise and explore the many waterways spanning Germany, Austria, France, Switzerland, Hungary, Portugal, the Czech Republic and more. A variety of different experiences await those looking to explore Europe without the stress of planning out all the details. Viking even offers river cruises highlighting the European Christmas Markets during the holday season as well as a cruise from St. Petersburg to Moscow in Russia! For more information about cruise options and deals aboard Viking, click here.

There are a number of river cruise companies in Europe, all designed for different types of travelers. Happy to also help with Tauck and AMA Waterways, among others.

AMA Magna ship

River Cruise and golf combo

AMAWaterways can combine their luxury river cruise experience with a concierge golf program! Play five rounds of golf at some of the leading courses in Europe while sailing the Danube! This is a great option for couples who share the love of golf as well as those who don't. Check it out here!

Of course, AMAWaterways also offers a variety of other river cruising options in Europe as well as in Africa, Asia, and Egypt! Contact us to see where they sail and start planning that special adventure.

Explore Europe your way!

Whether you dream of Italy, Germany, Switzerland, or any other European destination, there are a variety of travel options out there for you. Try cruising the Mediterranean and stay a few extra days in Rome; buy a Swiss Travel Pass and experience the Grand Train Tour where you can see the country up close and personal; combine a number of countries and cities and take an escorted or small group tour just about anywhere; or plan your own flexible, independent trip with a little help from your travel advisor. With so much to see and do and just as many options out there to make it happen, contact us to help you navigate it all! We are currently making reservations for 2022.

St. Andrews

Tee off in Scotland or Ireland!

Have you ever dreamed of teeing off at St. Andrews, known as the "home of golf"? Would you love to play on some of the beautiful golf courses in Ireland? Do you have some golf buddies in your "bubble" that would like to join you?

Play golf in either Scotland or Ireland! Sightseeing also is included in these 6- to 8-day golf packages with CIE Tours. You will even have your own private driver for up to 9 people. Contact us to see what courses are included and make plans now for 2022.

Scottish & Irish Dream Vacation

Explore the historic and cultural ties between Scotland and Ireland as you travel by escorted coach and hit all the must-see attractions, including Loch Lomond, Inveraray Castle, Isle of Skye, St. Andrews, Edinburgh Castle, Titanic Belfast, Trinity College, Blarney Castle, Ring of Kerry, and Cliffs of Moher. The tour features a full Irish breakfast daily and 10 other meals, including a traditional Irish dinner and show. Your 14-day stress-free adventure, which also includes all on-tour transportation, a welcome get-together drink, and free Wi-Fi on the coach, starts in Glasgow and ends in Dublin if you want to add on extra days before or after the tour. For more information, click here. Happy to also find you a tour of another length at a different time or one that also includes England, Scotland or Wales.

Iceland anyone?

Iceland has been listed as one of the hot, new destinations to visit for the last several years. But it wasn’t until I planned a Christmas getaway there this past year for some clients that it really caught my attention! Imagine relaxing in the Blue Lagoon on Christmas Day, hunting for the Northern Lights, snowmobiling on a glacier, taking a super jeep tour, visiting an ice tunnel, or simply enjoying a guided Christmas walk around Reykjavik. There are also special packages to ring in the New Year in Iceland! Regardless, you can find adventure year-round here, and I think it is worth a visit both in the winter and the summer. While traveling there is not an option yet, we can start dreaming and planning for late 2021 and 2022. Contact us to find out all the different adventures you can experience in Iceland!

Alaska ... Glaciers, Wildlife!

Secure your spot for August 2022 on a voyage to see the Great Land of Alaska with its glaciers, wildlife, and national parks! The 7-day cruise aboard Royal Princess leaves from Whittier, Alaska, and travels to Hubbard Glacier, spends an entire day in Glacier Bay, and then makes its way southbound through the Inside Passage, ending in Vancouver. Add on a few days before the cruise in Alaska to experience Anchorage and take a trip north to Denali National Park on Princess' rail service. Or opt to stay a few days at the end of the cruise and see Vancouver. Regardless, it's sure to be a fun and exciting adventure for everyone! Check out the details here

Holland America is another cruise line I highly recommend in Alaska. Let us help you distinguish between the two and make sure you find the right fit!

Of course, you can also see Alaska by land by adding on some days to your cruise or simply foregoing the cruise altogether. Take the Alaska Railroad to Denali National Park, embark on a 26 Glacier Cruise in Whittier, drive the scenic Seward Highway and take a Kenai Fjords National Park Cruise, and experience all that the cities of Anchorage and Fairbanks offer. We can create a land package that best suits your travel style and interests.

Ride the Rocky Mountaineer!

There is no better way to sit back, relax, and see the beautiful scenery of western Canada than aboard the Rocky Mountaineer! Venture inland on this train with packages that go to Jasper, Banff, and Lake Louise.

The Rocky Mountaineer train only travels during the daylight, ensuring that you do not miss any of the awesome scenery! This luxury experience offers two classes of service and a variety of different itineraries from which to choose. Add to that the warmth of the Canadian people and you have a real winner here! Read more about my experience aboard the Rocky Mountaineer, check out one of our featured trips, or simply contact us!

The Rocky Mountaineer is also offering a new route in the U.S. starting in August! Check out this one -- Rockies to the Red Rocks -- and be sure to add it to your list of "must-do" adventures! Traveling from Denver to Moab, Utah, it is a great starting point to explore the five nearby national parks, including Arches, Canyonlands, Capitol Reef, Bryce Canyon, and Zion.

Discover Vancouver

While a lot of cruises start or end in Vancouver, making it an ideal spot to spend a few extra days, you don't have to be on a cruise to enjoy this Canadian city. It's worthy of an extended visit any time of the year! Visit a variety of distinct neighborhoods throughout the city, embark on a foodie tour, look for wildlife on the water and on Grouse Mountain, walk across the Capilano Suspension Bridge, and be sure to allow time to travel to nearby Whistler and Victoria. Outdoor activities abound as well. Check them out and then contact us to set it all up for you!
